Sunday Youth Music Workshops continue the age-old process of passing on musical traditions to younger generations.
Sunday Youth Music Workshops offer young, aspiring musicians the opportunity to play with and learn from some of the area’s most experienced and celebrated musicians. Every workshop offers students a hands-on, improvisational approach to music education.
Each child will have his or her own chance to play with professional musicians or solo on a professional stage. Usually, workshops close with a jam session mixing students and professional musicians together for a real concert experience. The free, on-stage workshops are only for vov students musicians (recommended for middle & high school students), but all members of the public are welcome to join the audience. Students should bring their own instruments.
